Padua Basketball 4th Seed in the DIAA Tournament




Padua received a bye in the first round and will host a second round game on Friday, March 1 at 7:00 pm vs Howard.

Swimming 8th at the DIAA State Championships




Congratulations to the Padua swim team on their performance at the DIAA State Championships yesterday at the University of Delaware. The Pandas were led by Junior Logan Bagley with two individual 4th place finishes in the 50 free and 100 back and Senior Megan Price with two individual 13th place finishes in the 200 and 500 free events.  All three Padua relays crushed their entry times and improved their places.  The relay team of Bagley, Senior Sophia Jurgaitis, Sophomore Kailani Enos, and Sophomore Elsa Lutcher finished 4th in the state in the medley relay.  Junior Megan Stewart joined Enos, Jurgaitis, and Price to finish 11th in the 200 free relay and Enos, Lutcher, Price, and Bagley placed 7th in the 400 free relay.  Overall the Pandas finished 8th in the state.  Congratulations on a great season!

Indoor Track Runner-Up DIAA Championships




Padua's Indoor Track and Field Wins 8 of the 15 total events at the State Championship meet held this past weekend!  Jules Balon led the team, winning 4 individual golds!  Two State Meet Records were set in the 4x800m and 4x400m relays!  Junior, Elce Walsh wins gold in the Pole Vault for the third year in a row!  Mekiyah Earnest wins Gold in the Triple Jump!  The team finished a close 2nd overall in the team standings, scoring in all but 2 events, displaying the most balanced team effort at the meet and achieving some of the best performances in the state meet's history!

The Padua team scorers are summarized below.

Jules Balon won the 55m (6.99 PR!  New Padua school record!), Long Jump (, 200m (25.26) and 400m (57.00) events.  Jules is the first athlete to achieve this remarkable feat of four individual wins at the indoor state meet in well over a decade.  

Elce Walsh cleared 10-6 to win the Pole Vault her third consecutive time.

Mekiyah Earnest jumped 37-6 to win the triple jump by almost a 2-foot margin and placed 6th in the long jump with a mark of 17-5.

The 4x800m relay team of Allie DeAscanis, Madelyn Mead, Kelsey Wolff, and Molly Flanagan put up the first win of the day with a time of 9:30.72, breaking a 17-year-old meet record.

The 4x400m relay team of Anna Bockius, Madelyn Mead, Sophia Holgado, and Molly Flanagan ended the meet with a winning time of 3:58.63, breaking a 15-year-old meet record.

Molly Flanagan placed 2nd in the 800m (2:12.76) setting a new Padua School record.

Anna Bockius placed 3rd in the 1600m run with a huge PR of 4:57.68 and finished 5th in the 3200m with another huge PR of 11:00.89.

Sophia Holgado placed 3rd in the 3200m, setting a new Padua School record of 10:56.91, and finished 6th in the 1600m in a time of 5:05.43.

Lexi Frick had her best finish at the state meet, placing 4th overall in the shot put with a mark of 36-4.

Kelsey Wolff placed 4th in the 800m, running a huge PR time of 2:16.95.

Teresina DeAscanis placed 5th in the Triple Jump with a mark of 32-5.25 as well as jumped a PR in the high jump of 4-10.

Journey Davis posted a 6th place finish in the Pole Vault with a mark of 7-6.

Libby Neiberg showed a lot of courage, jumping 4-10 on a sore knee and placed 7th overall doing so.

Please make sure your 2023-2024 DIAA physical is completed and uploaded to Magnus Health. Any athlete who has not been cleared will not be able to tryout. Volleyball in the Quarterfinals DIAA Tournament


Congratulations to our Volleyball team on their victory over St. Georges 3-1 ( 16-25, 25-18, 25-20, 26-24) in the second round of the DIAA Tournament. They will travel to Ursuline Academy for a quarterfinal round match on 11/9/23 at 6:30 pm. Online tickets only on GoFAN.

SALESIANUM HOME FOOTBALL GAMES - NEW POLICY



Pre-purchase your tickets, via Ticket Spicket, to the Salesianum vs. Smyrna football game ASAP as we expect a potential sell out.  No bags, food, drinks, alcohol, drugs, or weapons are allowed in the Stadium.  No bags include no purses, no small fanny packs or similar items.  Leave your things in the car or at home.  All Salesianum, Ursuline, and Padua students will enter through the ambulance gate and go through a metal detector.  All other spectators will go to the main entrance.  Arrive early to ensure entry into the game on time.  Gates open at 6:15pm.  

These rules apply to all the rest of the home football games.

You will find the information on this site helpful as a player, parent, student, and Panda Fan.  Each sport gives you information that should be helpful to you. Check throughout the season for rosters, scores, stats, and other info.  I will be posting updates weekly to let you know what our Pandas have been up to and what we have coming up.  Please click on the yellow box in the upper right hand corrner of the main page to register for live updates on Panda Sports. Physicals for the 2023-2024 school year must be dated after April 1, 2023. 
Please upload all physicals to Magnus Health by October  23, 2023 in order to be eligible to participate in Fall Sports.
